Institutional credit marketplace. Capital is lent to KYC-verified, named borrowers underwritten by a pool delegate. Loans may carry collateral with margin-call and liquidation terms, but those terms are negotiated per loan rather than set by a pool-wide LTV — so the dominant risk is borrower quality and underwriting discipline, not a protocol-level liquidation parameter. Pools issue an ERC-20 share token (Syrup issues syrupUSDC / syrupUSDT / syrupUSDG) and redemption is queued rather than instant. Most pools are permissioned: an allocator cannot simply deposit.
